Terms of Service

These Terms are a plain-language agreement between you and Puntwork. Please read them — by using Puntwork you agree to them.

1. Who we are

Puntwork ("Puntwork," "we," "us," or "our") is operated by [your legal entity name]. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Puntwork website, applications, and services (together, the "Service").

2. Accepting these Terms

By creating an account, uploading content, or otherwise using the Service, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you are using Puntwork on behalf of an organization, you represent that you are authorized to accept these Terms for that organization.

3. What Puntwork does

Puntwork lets you add documents and website content to a private knowledge repository, and then ask questions or request tasks that are answered using that content with the help of AI. Puntwork is a productivity tool — it is not a source of professional advice.

4. Eligibility and accounts

You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority where you live) to use the Service.
You are responsible for the activity under your account and for keeping your login credentials secure.
You agree to provide accurate account information and to keep it up to date.

5. Your content

You own your content. Documents, files, URLs, text, and other materials you add to Puntwork ("Your Content") remain yours. You grant Puntwork a limited, non-exclusive license to store, process, and display Your Content solely to provide the Service to you — for example, to index it, retrieve relevant passages, and generate answers and drafts for you.

You are responsible for Your Content. You represent that you have the rights to upload it and that doing so does not violate any law or the rights of others. Do not upload content you are not permitted to use, including confidential information you do not have the right to share.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to use the Service to:

break any law or infringe anyone's intellectual property, privacy, or other rights;
upload malware, or attempt to disrupt, reverse-engineer, or gain unauthorized access to the Service;
generate or distribute unlawful, harmful, deceptive, or abusive content;
resell or provide the Service to third parties except as expressly permitted.

7. AI-generated output

Puntwork uses AI models to generate answers and documents from Your Content. AI output can be incomplete or inaccurate. You are responsible for reviewing and verifying any output before relying on or acting on it. Output is provided for informational purposes only and is not legal, financial, medical, or other professional advice.

8. Plans, billing, and credits

Paid plans are billed per user on a recurring (monthly) basis and include a monthly allotment of credits. Payments are processed by our payment provider, Stripe.
Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. You can cancel at any time, effective at the end of your current billing period.
Except where required by law, payments are non-refundable and credits do not roll over between periods.
We may change pricing on a prospective basis with reasonable notice.

9. Our intellectual property

The Service, including its software, design, and branding, is owned by Puntwork and protected by law. These Terms do not grant you any rights to our trademarks or to the Service other than the right to use it as permitted here.

10. Third-party services

Puntwork relies on third-party providers (for example, cloud hosting, database, and AI-model providers) to operate. Your use of the Service may be subject to those providers' terms, and we are not responsible for third-party services outside our control.

11. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that AI output will be accurate.

12. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Puntwork will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, profits, or revenue. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service will not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.

13. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold Puntwork harmless from claims arising out of Your Content or your use of the Service in violation of these Terms or applicable law.

14. Termination

You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms or to protect the Service. On termination, Your Content may be deleted.

15. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will take reasonable steps to notify you. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.

16. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of [your state/country], without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts located there.
